Lavender Apothecary Blend

This unique blend has the benefit of the powerful antiseptic properties of Oregano essential oil from Hungary, with a carvacrol (phenol) content at 78% to 80%, and our gentle Lavender from Bulgaria. Together they create a phenomenon known in the natural world as "quenching". This means that the severe skin irritation produced by the Oregano is alleviated by the anti-burn and soothing properties found in the Lavender.*

Lavender Oregano

  • Diffuse 10-12 drops in a cool mist essential oil diffuser.*
  • Apply 1 to 2 drops neat (undiluted) to insect bites as needed to relieve itching.*
  • Apply 1 to 2 drops neat (undiluted) to shallow cuts and scratches once or twice and then follow up with Tea Tree oil.*
  • Apply 1 to 2 drops neat (undiluted) to nail beds and surrounding tissue two to three times per day as needed to treat nail fungus.*

Lavender Oregano

  • Not recommended for children under age ten, the very elderly, those with liver disease, or pregnant or nursing women.
  • Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If you should get oil in the eyes, apply a carrier oil and seek medical help.
  • Oregano is liver-toxic and should not be used on an every day basis; after one bottle take a two-week break before using one more bottle.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • If you are pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor's care, consult your healthcare provider prior to use.
  • Store away from sunlight, at room temperature, with the lid securely tightened.
